"Voki is a free collection of customizable speaking avatars for students that enhances class engagement. Our user-friendly interface allows you to customize the look of your avatar with a click of a mouse. Simply, choose your head, clothes, and accessories. Give your Voki a voice, and then add a background. It's that easy!" Today you will create an audio animation using Voki, evaluating some of the things that have been created from 3D printing technology and explaining what a 3D printer does and how it works. You will obtain information from the OER Tes Teach lesson I created. Animations will be assessed on recommendations for the use or disposal of the device, creativity with the avatar, and the audio.
Go to www.Voki.com and click on Try it Free! First customize your avatar. Next you will either do a voice recording of your presentation, or you can type it in and select a voice. Finally you will publish your presentation by selecting Publish and naming Yourname 3D Voki. To retrieve your file, you can either create an account or click No thanks. Next click the Link icon that says copy url. Copy and paste your url to the Comment/Reply section of this post. Here is an example final Voki presentation.
